AMS Curriculum Orientation

Thank you for viewing the three AMS Curriculum Orientation videos. The videos and the handout resources are provided to help you to better understand:

  • Why the AMS needs an Archdiocesan curriculum
  • The purpose and design of Forming Disciples for the New Evangelization: Archdiocesan Religion Curriculum Guide
  • The resources and training available to you for full implementation effective August 6, 2013.

The implementation of the curriculum should be understood as a process that will take time and creativity communicating, consulting and collaborating at all levels in a respectful manner. Priests (DRE) and lay catechetical leaders are encouraged to invite catechists to view the videos as a team or individually. If the military installation Information Security System or fire walls do not allow viewing, you are encouraged to watch the videos from a personal device.

Questions are to be directed to José Amaya, Director of Faith Formation, by email faithformation@milarch.org or by calling 202-719-3623 or cell 301-801-1653. Conference call consulting is available. Your questions and feedback will enhance service and supporting tools.)
