Archbishop Broglio Requests Prayers for Fallen Warriors and Veterans on Veterans Day

Recognizes sacrifices of brave troops and military chaplains

WASHINGTON, D.C. – His Excellency, the Most Reverend Timothy P. Broglio, J.C.D., Archbishop for the Military Services, issued the following statement on the occasion of Veterans Day.

Archbishop Broglio said:

“Veterans Day calls to mind the fallen in foreign wars, those still suffering from the effects of their generous response to the call of duty, and, of course, everyone who has retired from active duty. We cannot forget the sacrifices of so many from the ‘greatest generation to the latest generation.’ I hope people everywhere will pray for our brave troops and the chaplains who help them during their deployment and afterwards.”
