Evangelization

Office of Evangelization

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” (Mt 28:19-20)

The Office of Evangelization provides resources and information to assist those serving our country and their families to proclaim the Gospel. The mobile life brings new meaning to the call “to go out and make disciples of all nations.” Reflection upon this call reminds us that Evangelization happens through continual conversion, through individuals and society, through the force of the Gospel itself, through ongoing conversion for individuals and the Church while also sharing the Gospel with those who have not heard it.

“The work of evangelization in the world of the military, requires a growing assumption of responsibility, so that, in military life as well, there be an ever new, convicted and joyful proclamation of Jesus Christ, the one hope for life and peace for all humanity.” – Pope Benedict XVI, address to Military Ordinaries, October 22, 2011
