2018

  • January 1st (Monday) – Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God – Not a Day of Obligation.
  • May 13th (Sunday) – Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord – In the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA, the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord is celebrated on the Sunday preceding the Solemnity of Pentecost.
  • August 15th (Wednesday) – Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
  • November 1st (Thursday) – Solemnity of All Saints
  • December 8th (Saturday) – Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Patronal Feast day of the United States of America
  • December 25th (Tuesday) – Solemnity of the Nativity of the Lord

2019

  • January 1st (Tuesday) – Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God
  • May 26th (Sunday) – Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord – In the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA, the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord is celebrated on the Sunday preceding the Solemnity of Pentecost.
  • August 15th (Thursday) – Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
  • November 1st (Friday) – Solemnity of All Saints
  • December 9th (Monday) – Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Patronal Feast day of the United States of America. Because the celebration is transferred from Sunday to Monday in 2019, the obligation to participate in Mass is abrogated.
  • December 25th (Wednesday) – Solemnity of the Nativity of the Lord
