WASHINGTON, D.C.—For one day only, this Friday, Sept. 8, you can double your money on a donation to Team AMS—the charity partner team running on behalf of the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS) in the upcoming 33rd annual Army Ten-Miler. Here’s how to take advantage of this unique opportunity. Make a donation anytime between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. (EDST) on Friday, and anonymous donors, through a one-day online digital matching offer, will match your donation dollar for dollar.

That’s right—all gifts received in support of Team AMS during the 24-hour period on Friday, Sept. 8, will be matched to double the support for the team.Additionally, the first $8,000 in gifts will be sent directly from the AMS to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to aid the dioceses in Texas that have been hit hardest by Hurricane Harvey.  To support Team AMS, please visit: https://milarch.rallybound.org/Donate.

Team AMS is a 50-member strong group of runners, including AMS priests, seminarians, active duty and retired service members, and faithful of the Archdiocese, who will participate in the Oct. 8 Army Ten-Miler in Washington. They are running to raise funds in support of the AMS mission to serve those who serve and defend the free exercise of Catholic faith in the U.S. Military.

So far, Team AMS has raised $27,377 of their $60,000 goal. You can help bridge the gap by making a donation on Friday at https://milarch.rallybound.org/Donate: Team AMS will receive twice the amount you give.
