Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio to celebrate Mass and host benefit reception in hometown


CLEVELAND, OHIO—His Excellency, the Most Reverend Timothy P. Broglio, J.C.D., Archbishop for the Military Services, USA, will celebrate a MASS TO PRAY FOR PEACE at 4:30 p.m. (EST) on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist at 1007 Superior Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. All are welcome to attend.

Beginning at 6:00 p.m. (EST), following Mass, Archbishop Broglio will host a reception to benefit the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS), in the English Oak Room at Tower City Center, 230 West Huron Road #7273. Tickets must be purchased in advance for the reception. Proceeds will go to support pastoral care and ministry to Catholics in the United States Military, those receiving in-patient treatment in the nation’s Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Centers, and the families of these populations.

Archbishop Broglio is a native Clevelander and alumnus of Saint Ignatius High School. Auxiliary Bishop Neal J. Buckon, who will concelebrate the Mass and attend the reception, is also a Cleveland native and alumnus of Cathedral Latin High School and John Carroll University.
