Combined Annual Memorial Mass and Father Capodanno Mass Scaled Down

On September 6, Archbishop Broglio celebrated the combined 26th Annual Memorial Mass and Father Vincent Capodanno Mass in the main chapel of the Edwin Cardinal O’Brien Pastoral Center on  with the staff clergy, co-sponsored seminarians and clerics, and a small representative group of the AMS Christian faithful—all socially distanced.

Concelebrating the combined Mass were Auxiliary Bishops F. Richard Spencer, Joseph L. Coffey, and a few other priests of the Archdiocese.  The small, socially distanced congregation consisted mostly of co-sponsored seminarians preparing to become U.S. Military chaplains, all of whom were gathered in Washington for their annual Labor Day weekend retreat.
