Archdiocese to Hold Days of Recollection in Asia and Europe for Priests and Chaplains Serving Those Who Serve Overseas

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Catholic priests serving as U.S. Military chaplains to the armed forces in Asia and Europe will soon have an opportunity to attend any of three regional clergy days of recollection scheduled over the next few months on both continents. Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio has approved the opportunities to help sustain spiritually priests endorsed by the Archdiocese of the Military Services, USA, (AMS), to serve those who serve. Military Catholics Well-Represented at National Jamboree of Boy Scouts of America

MOUNT HOPE, W. Va. – The Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS), is well represented at the Boy Scouts of America’s National Jamboree now underway in Mount Hope, W. Va. Scouts from Catholic U.S. Military families based throughout the United States and as far away as Europe and Asia are participating in the July 19-28 Jamboree at the 14,000-acre Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve.
