Vision Academy for Catholic Life and Leadership
Virtual Conference for High School Students, 21 June – 2 July, 2021

Vision Academy high school participants (ages 15 through the 2021 high school graduating class) will form a community of prayer, study, and service accompanied by undergraduate Vision Mentors through a two-week experience. Participants will engage in dynamic digital content from their homes designed to help them develop practices of prayer and reflection to embrace God’s call in their daily life. Saint George Trek 2021 – Cancelled
The Saint George Trek planned for 7-21 July 2021 has been cancelled, dates for 2022 are being sought.
The Saint George Trek is The National Catholic Committee on Scouting’s® high adventure Catholic leadership program for older Catholic Boy Scouts and Venture Crew members at Philmont Scout Ranch. The program brings Catholic high school youth from around the country together with selected priests, religious and seminarians for eleven days of backpacking in the context of a vocation retreat. The National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry will host the National Catholic Youth Conference this coming November. NCYC will be both a gathered and virtual event. The second chapter of the book of Acts tells about the coming of the Holy Spirit. At NCYC 2021, all will call upon the Holy Spirit to descend upon our young Church and set them Ablaze for the Lord! Ticket information will be available on the NCYC website. Note that the AMS is a member diocese of NFCYM, permitting member pricing when available. Tickets go on sale and hotel room blocks open in May 2021.
