The World Scout Jamboree is above all an educational event that brings together the world’s young people to promote peace and mutual understanding and to develop leadership and life skills.

The 24th World Scout Jamboree will feature the hallmarks of past world jamboree programs, such as the Global Development Village, the World Scout Centre, a special sustainability initiative, and the socialization elements that allow participants to make lifelong friends from around the world.

Unlike any other youth event, the World Scout Jamboree invites you to surround yourself in diverse global cultures by joining your new Scouting friends at a single destination for 12 unforgettable days. The jamboree experience extends beyond your home—and beyond the boundaries of our countries—to create a global adventure that will last a lifetime!

The Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA, is a member diocese of the NFCYM. Groups from U.S. military installations may register under the discounted Member Diocese rates. In addition, groups from the military have two options. First, a military-connected group on a U.S. military installation may coordinate their own trip with a designated Chapel Adult Coordinator (approved by the AMS-endorsed Priest) to serve as the Delegation Leader. This POC must read the Delegation Leader Handbook and abide by all of the protocols and deadlines within. An alternative is to reach out to the local U.S. diocese where your installation is located to inquire if they are organizing a trip to NCYC and if there might be room for your group to join. Inquiries regarding these options may be directed to Mark Moitoza, Vice Chancellor for Evangelization, 202.719.3648.
