SALUTE Magazine Receives Awards at Catholic Media Conference

GREEN BAY, WI – The Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada saluted SALUTE Magazine with two awards Friday night, June 15, 2018, at the organization’s annual Catholic Media Conference in Green Bay, WI. SALUTE is the quarterly news magazine of the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS). Edited by Ms. Jo Ann Redmond, SALUTE has a circulation of approximately 50,000 worldwide.

Prospective Catholic U.S. Army Chaplain Ordained a Priest in Atlanta

ATLANTA, GA. – Father Michael Metz, a candidate to join the United States Army as a chaplain, was ordained a Catholic priest on Saturday, June 16, in Atlanta, GA. Father Metz is on track to serve on active duty with endorsement and faculties from the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS) once he completes three years of pastoral service in his home Archdiocese of Atlanta.
