  • January 1st (Wednesday) – Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God – This year the Solemnity of Mary falls on a Wednesday. Whenever the Solemnity falls on a Saturday or on a Monday, the precept to attend Mass is abrogated.
  • June 1st (Sunday) – Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord – In the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA, the solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord is celebrated on the Sunday preceding the solemnity of Pentecost (which is Sunday, June 8, 2025).
  • August 15th (Friday) – Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary – This year the Solemnity of the Assumption falls on a Friday. Whenever the Solemnity falls on a Saturday or on a Monday, the precept to attend Mass is abrogated.
  • November 1st (Saturday) – Solemnity of All Saints – This year the Solemnity of All Saints falls on a Saturday. Whenever the Solemnity falls on a Saturday or on a Monday, the precept to attend Mass is abrogated.
  • December 8th (Monday) – Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Patronal Feast of the United States of America.
  • December 25th (Thursday) – Solemnity of the Nativity of the Lord
