Scouting ministry provides programs that effectively contribute toward the implementation of a comprehensive approach to Catholic youth ministry. Young people need the guidance of happy, healthy, and holy adult role models willing to share their faith in both word and action.

The National Catholic Committee on Scouting® (NCCS) is a church committee of concerned Catholic lay people and clergy who see as their mission the constructive use of the program of the Boy Scouts of America as a viable form of youth ministry with the Catholic youth of our nation.

The National Catholic Committee on Girl Scouts and Camp Fire (NCCGSCF) serves Catholic youth and adults through quality faith-based programs. The NCCGSCF oversees, develops, implements, and evaluates religious recognition programs and training opportunities for Catholic leaders in Girl Scouting and Camp Fire.

The mission of the AHG National Catholic Committee is to support American Heritage Girls, Inc. while promoting and providing for the growth and spiritual development of its Catholic members, in fidelity to the magisterium of the Catholic Church, and to act as the liaison between AHG, Inc. and the Catholic Church.
