Father Capodanno Activity Patch
The AMS Catholic Committee on Scouting developed an activity patch for Catholic youth and adults. This activity patch honors Servant of God Father Vincent Capodanno. His words, deeds, and devotion to prayer and sacraments have inspired countless American Catholics, especially those serving in the military. The purposes of the activity are:
1. To provide awareness to Scouts, adult Scout leaders, and others on the role of Priests serving as Chaplains in the US Armed Forces.
2. To encourage learning about more about servant leadership through the life and sacrifice of Father Vincent Capodanno.
3. To promote Priesthood and military Chaplaincy as a vocation.
