Kevin Stacy

Discipleship Trainer

Kevin is a devoted husband, father of six, and proud Catholic convert. After serving over two decades as an Infantryman in the U.S. Army, he retired in 2024, closing a chapter of his life marked by service, discipline, and leadership. His military career took him across the world, with assignments at Camp Casey in South Korea, Fort Moore in Georgia, Schofield Barracks in Hawaii, and finally, Fort Drum, New York. Beyond his military service, Kevin has always had a passion for learning. He earned a Master’s degree in Executive Leadership & New Testament Studies from Liberty University and is currently furthering his formation by studying to become a Spiritual Director at the Institute for Ministry Formation at Saint Vincent Seminary. His path to the Catholic Church began while preparing to serve as a chaplain in the Army. Through deep study, the witness of the early Church Fathers, and the beauty of the Mass, Kevin felt called to the faith and was received into the Church at the Easter Vigil in 2015 at Yongsan, South Korea. Although naturally introverted, Kevin has embraced his unexpected mission of evangelization, trusting in the saying: “God doesn’t call the qualified—He qualifies the called.” He enjoys reading, morning coffee, fitness, and a good beer in his free time.

Melissa Weeks

Discipleship Trainer

Melissa is a passionate Catholic AD spouse, mother, theologian, and mentor—devoted to serving both her family and the wider military faith community. Twenty-one years ago, she and her husband embraced the Air Force life, already raising two children. Today they have graduated four of their five children from home education and continue to lead the youngest. As a spiritual mother to many, Melissa’s home continues to be a beacon for young adults seeking fellowship, prayer, and purpose. With a Master’s in Philosophy and Theology from Catholic Distance University, Melissa’s academic journey deepened her personal calling to integrate faith into the military lifestyle. Her writing and ministry reflect that commitment through OCIA, Religious Education, MCCW/CWOC, Young Adult outreach, and her apostolate, Apostolic Soul—an initiative that creates spiritual experiences uniquely attuned to military service. Melissa finds great joy bringing faith into the outdoors, inspired by the witness of St. John Paul II and Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. As her husband nears retirement, her mission remains clear: to help any person, in any pew, on any installation find their spiritual footing where duty to God and duty to country go hand-in-hand. Her hope is that each soul nourished will pass the torch of faith forward—building a stronger, enduring Catholic military community.

Nicholas “Nick” Cammaroto, O.P.

Discipleship Trainer

Nick is a joyful husband and father of three boys who desires to lead people closer to Christ and to empower them to share that closeness and its fruits with the world. Nick enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 2015 and currently serves on active duty in the Air National Guard as an Emergency Actions Controller. A combat veteran of Operation Inherent Resolve, he has also served as a recruiter and fighter crew chief on F-16s and F-15s. In 2023, He began discerning a call to the Order of Preachers as a Lay Dominican, prompted by the Holy Spirit through discovery of a deep passion for sacred scripture, the study of theology & philosophy, and the art of apologetics. As he embraced his Dominican Spirituality more fully, it became clear that his heart was being set afire with an even greater love for neighbor, for the salvation of souls, and for spreading of the Gospel in every place he found himself. In addition to Reach More, Nick is the president of the Catholic Military Apostolate of the United States, whose mission is the sanctification of military life & building sustainable Catholic community across the U.S. Military worldwide. He also teaches OCIA and is a proud Knight of Columbus.
