Be Fearless Missionaries: Bring Christ into Every Area of Life

In the Apostolic Exhortation Christus Vivit, Pope Francis calls on the Church to consider refreshing the ways she can accompany young people.  At the Young Adult Ministry Symposium, participants had an opportunity to reflect and dialogue on how the Archdiocese can better serve the needs of military young adults across the globe. The targeted group for this symposium was active duty members and spouses, in the age range of 18-29 years. The symposium took place over four days with opportunities to listen to panels as well as participate in breakout sessions to discuss evangelization and missionary discipleship.

Preparatory Discernment

To prepare for the Symposium, the Office of Evangelization hosted a series of webinars to share some of the framework of the 2022 in-person gathering as well as uncover what young adults wanted to bring forward in further discussion.
