Catholic Coordinators serving on U.S. military installations
There are a variety of Catholic Coordinator roles on U.S. military installations. Position descriptions and postings for available positions are organized at the local installation.
Those that serve in the role of CPLC (Catholic Pastoral Life Coordinator) or CRE (Catholic Coordinator of Religious Education) must be a practicing Catholic who has received the Sacrament of Confirmation. The CRE must obtain AMS catechist certification.
All new Catholic Coordinators must register for a username and password through the myAMS portal. Ask the installation priest for input on how to access the myAMS portal.
On an annul basis, all Catholic Coordinators, if they continue in the same role, must also submit an application to request access to the myAMS portal section that supports their particular role. Applications require the applicant to submit their Catholic baptism date and location. Those that do not submit a new application each year will have their access to the myAMS portal removed.
