WASHINGTON, DC – Registration is now open for the inaugural Catholic Military Conference, to be held Nov. 9-11, 2026, under the theme “Living and Serving Justly.” The conference, sponsored by the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS), will take place at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, VA.
The three-day gathering will feature speakers Katie McGrady, host of the Katie McGrady Show on Sirius XM The Catholic Channel, as Emcee, Dr. Joseph Capizzi, the McGrath-Cavadini Chair of the McGrath Institute for Church Life at the University of Notre Dame, Lieutenant General John Wissler, U.S. Marine Corps, Retired, and more speakers to be announced in the coming weeks.
The conference schedule will include a keynote address from Dr. Capizzi on moral theology and the Church’s Just War tradition followed by a theological reflection with theologians, chaplains, and service members on the moral and spiritual aspects of military service and warfare.
With a variety of keynote addresses and breakout sessions, participants will leave the conference better formed as disciples of Christ, more synodally connected to the AMS, and having renewed and begun new friendships with fellow Catholic military families.
Early Bird registration tickets are available to actively serving members of the military and their spouses for $350 and to military retirees, veterans, and civilians for $400. This is a $75 discount to general admission tickets. There is also a VIP ticket available which offers many special features including a private reception with Archbishop Broglio.
