2021 Young Adult Symposium
In the Apostolic Exhortation Christus Vivit, Pope Francis calls on the Church to consider refreshing the ways she can accompany young people. At the Young Adult Ministry Symposium, participants will have an opportunity to reflect and dialogue on how the Archdiocese can better serve the needs of military young adults across the globe. This in-person gathering will take place 12-15 August 2021.
What Will the Discernment Look Like?
To prepare for next year’s Symposium, the Office of Evangelization will host a series of webinars to share some of the framework of the future in-person gathering as well as uncover what young adults, like you, want to bring forward in further discussion.
In order to reach multiple time zones each webinar presentation will have one live session and two recorded sessions. Only the keynote presentation will be recorded. The discussions will not be recorded so that an exchange of ideas may be less inhibited among those who connect to either the live webinar sessions or the recorded sessions. Written notes with highlights of these conversations will help to keep track of the salient points that arise from those discussions.
