WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS), launched a new podcast called Catholic Military Life. The podcast, featuring recorded audio conversations with chaplains and others involved with pastoral care to those who serve, will appear in regular episodes on the AMS website, its Facebook page, and external sites such as SoundCloud and PodOmatic.

Young Adults and Families in U.S. Military Gain Access to New Online Course in Evangelization and Faith Formation

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Starting this Lent, military young adults and families, Hispanic and faithful of all cultures will have a new online resource for learning about their faith, developing spirituality, and preparing to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS), is offering, in collaboration with the University of Dayton’s Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation (VLCFF), a FREE course called Missionary Disciples: Witnesses of God’s Love.

Bishop Robert Barron’s CATHOLICISM: the Pivotal Players Shipped to Catholic Military Communities Worldwide

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Just in time for Lent, Catholics serving in the United States Military will have free access to the first volume of Bishop Robert Barron’s new video series, CATHOLICISM: the Pivotal Players. The Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS), has shipped 500 complimentary DVD box sets, complete with study materials, to Catholic faith communities on U.S. Military installations around the world, aboard U.S. Navy warships, and in Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Centers.
