GREEN BAY, WI – Father Patrick G. Costello, LT, USNR, a 2013 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and a candidate for U.S. Military chaplaincy, was ordained a Catholic priest on Saturday, July 3, in Green Bay, WI. He hopes eventually to serve as a Navy chaplain with endorsement and faculties from the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS). The new priest plans to go on active duty following a three-year period of pastoral service in his home Diocese of Green Bay under the co-sponsorship agreement between the Diocese and the AMS.

Having completed his priestly formation at Theological College in Washington, DC—the national seminary of The Catholic University of America—Father Allan, 27, is on track to go on active duty with endorsement and faculties from the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS).
