Why I serve:
Travis AFB has been home to me for over 20 years, and the military and Catholic communities here have shaped so much of who I am. When I returned to Fairfield as an adult, some of the first people to welcome me into the young adult community was a Team Saint Paul missionary. That first invitation opened the door to Bible studies, bonfires, line dancing, shared meals, and friendships that quickly made Travis feel like home again. It even led me to meet my fiancé. Through that experience, I saw how much it matters simply to have someone show up and make room for you.
Many young service members arrive at Travis far from family and friends, trying to find where they belong. I feel called to be present to them by listening when life gets hard, inviting them to meals or to experience Jesus’ true presence in the Eucharist, answering questions about faith, and helping build genuine Catholic community. I also want to help young adults grow into leaders who can confidently live, share, and pass on their faith to others. After a year of prayer and discernment, I realized God was asking me to stop putting off that call and trust Him enough to say yes. Now I have the privilege of serving the Catholic community that raised me. My hope is that every person I encounter through Team Saint Paul knows they are seen, known, loved, and never alone.

Passions and Hobbies:
I’m a huge foodie and love both discovering new restaurants and cooking for other people, especially when I can make something that gets a genuine “WOW, that’s good!” I also spent years decorating cakes, so baking is another favorite way I love serving people.
I’m endlessly curious about languages, cultures, and the world. I speak Spanish fluently, and know bits and pieces of 21 other languages. Whether I’m visiting a museum, learning where a word came from, exploring a new culture, or sharing a great meal with friends, I’m happiest when I’m learning something new and connecting with other people.
