Why I serve:
I am a military brat whose heart has always been for our service members. While in Humboldt I came into service with our local Newman Center and from there felt called to continue building the Catholic community through our reach and event leading. This mission serves both of the calls I hold close to my heart and is an answer to a prayer I didn’t realize I had been praying for.
Favorite Saint:
St. Dymphna. I would consider her my most trusted advisor and friend. She is the patron of those who struggle with mental health. Another close friend would be St. Faustian Kowalska, Patron of Divine Mercy.
Passions and Hobbies:
I love to craft — from metal work to embroidery. Making things with my hands is one of my favorite things. I have been making Rosaries for the past few years now, and they are my favorite things to give out a gifts and presents. I love working with kids so this skill comes in handy a lot.
