Time Running Out to Take Advantage of Archdiocese’s 2017 Matching Endowment Opportunity

Donors’ gifts matched dollar for dollar

WASHINGTON, DC—Time is running out for anyone wanting to show support for the free exercise of the Catholic faith in the U.S. Military by making a gift to the 2017 Matching Endowment Opportunity offered by the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS). The Opportunity ends on Dec. 31. Generous benefactors will match any contribution received before the end of the year, dollar for dollar.

Gifts will help the AMS support vocations to the priesthood and military chaplaincy as well as provide for pastoral programs and services including evangelization, faith formation, tribunal activity, and sacramental record-keeping.

Those with a particular interest in supporting the Vocations and Co-Sponsored Seminarian programs are invited to consider establishing a Named and Endowed Co-Sponsored Seminarian Scholarship as a legacy gift. Gifts of $25,000 or more will be matched to establish a scholarship and support the continued growth of the AMS Vocations Endowment established in 2014.
