World Youth Day 2027, Seoul, South Korea - Join AMS Pilgrims
Registration Information
Join AMS young adult pilgrims in Seoul, South Korea for a pilgrimage of faith. Hospitality, night prayer, an Archdiocesan Mass, and more will be offered for those that gather with other AMS pilgrims at the Dragon Hill Lodge in the center of Seoul.
Registration: To register for WYD as a Subgroup of the AMS Macrogroup contact McKenzie Mauss, Associate Director for Missionary Discipleship, via email, yamissionary@milarch.org. A Subgroup link and a leaders guide will be sent via email. Follow-up questions may be directed to McKenzie via email or by phone, 202.719.3654.
The AMS recommends pilgrim package A2, which includes the WYD pass, transportation card, meal card (for lunch and dinner), pilgrim pack, and insurance from 2-8 August 2027. See the leader’s guide for more information.
Deadline to register a subgroup is 30 May 2027.
Accommodation: Group leaders that receive a link and complete the initial registration process as a Subgroup of the AMS Macrogroup may request information about booking rooms to join AMS Pilgrims staying at Dragon Hill Lodge in the center of Seoul. The AMS recommends booking rooms from 2-9 August 2027 (an extra day on either side is also possible.) See hotel rates below.
Transportation: All groups are responsible for transportation to and from South Korea. Groups flying in to Seoul Incheon Airport, ICN, may contact the Dragon Hill Lodge to inquire about potential transfer options.
Dragon Hill Lodge Rates – World Youth Day Reservation Information – valid from 1-10 August 2027
Information related to contacting the Dragon Hill Lodge via email or phone will be provided by McKenzie Mauss after a Subgroup has registered under the AMS WYD Macrogroup and the Subgroup leader’s name has been provided to the Dragon Hill Lodge. The Subgroup leader then contacts the Dragon Hill Lodge and notes that they are booking via the AMS WYD Pilgrim Leader List in order to access the internal WYD Booking Code for the rates noted below.
A 50% deposit will be required to secure World Youth Day Reservations. Cancellations must be received at least 60 days prior to arrival. Additional cancellation terms and reservation requirements will be provided as part of the reservation confirmation.
All participants must meet the AFRC eligibility requirements noted on the Dragon Hill Lodge website in order to gain access to the facility, i.e., all AMS WYD Pilgrims must have a valid Military ID, etc.
Dragon Hill Lodge – Lodging Package Rates
WYD package rates include overnight accommodations and daily buffet breakfast for two adults, including one beverage per person and gratuity. Rates are based on rank:

Category 2: E7-E9, W01-CW03, 01-03
Category 3: 04–010, CW4-CW5, DOW Civilian, Sponsored Rooms
Two adults – overnight accommodation
Category 1: $161.00/ night
Category 2: $193.00 / night
Category 3: $209.99 / night
Rate for 3 adults – overnight accommodation, additional adult, Age 18+
For a third adult, age 18 or older, occupying a King room with a rollaway, an additional $37 per night will apply. This includes the additional charge and daily buffet breakfast.

Suite Package – Up to four
Suites accommodate up to four guests. Breakfast for two adults is included, no additional person fee for the third or fourth guest; however, breakfast for each additional adult is included at $22 per person, per day.

Global Annual Celebration of Youth World Youth Day
Sunday, November 23, 2025: Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe
World Youth Day expands far beyond the physical gathering of the Holy Father that hosts millions of young people from across the world. The Global Celebration of Young People, which takes place every year on the Solemnity of Christ the King, is an annual celebration of youth and young adults that is undertaken on the local levels of the Church.
