Auxiliary Bishops William Muhm and Joseph Coffey Ordained at National Shrine

WASHINGTON, D.C.— It’s official: the Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS), USA, now has two new auxiliary bishops. Bishops William (Bill) J. Muhm and Joseph L. Coffey were ordained Monday—the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord—at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. His Excellency, the Most Reverend Timothy P. Broglio, J.C.D, Archbishop for the Military Services, served as principal celebrant and ordaining Prelate before a congregation of more than two-thousand on a beautiful spring afternoon in Washington, DC.

Rite of Election Celebrated for Seven Adults Affiliated with U.S. Military

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Seven men and women affiliated with the United States Military, all based in the greater Washington area, celebrated the Rite of Election on Sunday, March 10, 2019, in the main chapel of the Edwin Cardinal O’Brien Pastoral Center.
