June 30, 2024: The Peter’s Pence Collection has ancient roots that reach all the way back to New Testament times. The early Christians provided material support that the disciples -those preaching the Gospel – could distribute to those in need (see Acts 4:34-35, 11:29).
Today, the Peter’s Pence Collection is the way we, as members of the Catholic Church, unite ourselves to the concerns of the Holy Father.
