VALLENDAR, GERMANY – How to pray? How to grasp the beauty of a relationship with God? Those themes kindled a European retreat for U.S. Military-affiliated Catholic men over the weekend at the Schoenstatt Retreat Center in Vallendar, Germany. Nearly three dozen men from various military installations throughout Germany and an airman from RAF Lakenheath in Great Britain immersed themselves in the three days of prayer, spiritual conversation, Eucharistic adoration, confession, daily Mass, and on Saturday, Feb. 3, the Feast of St. Blaise, the blessing of throats.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Dozens of future U.S. Army and Navy officers braved freezing temperatures, ice, wind, and snow in the Nation’s Capital on Friday to walk in the 51st annual March for Life—the second in a post-Roe America—along the National Mall. Miller, (CPT) USAR, a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, and candidate for the Catholic priesthood and U.S. Military chaplaincy, was ordained a transitional deacon on Friday, Sept. 8, the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in his home Diocese of Winona-Rochester, MN. WASHINGTON, D.C.— A record number of supporters have contributed money in this year’s Day of Giving for the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS). The AMS Day of Giving is held annually on July 21 to commemorate the 1986 establishment of the Archdiocese. Since Friday, July 21, 462 generous donors have contributed to the 2023 campaign, breaking the previous record of 326 donors set in 2021, giving the Archdiocese this year more than $85,000.
