Archdiocese Holds First-Ever Young Adult Ministry Symposium in Response to Pope Francis’ Apostolic Exhortation Christus Vivit

CRYSTAL CITY, VA — More than 60 U.S. Military-affiliated Catholic young adults, priests, chaplains, pastoral leaders, and support staff are gathered in Crystal City, VA, this weekend for the first-ever, in-person Young Adult Ministry Symposium sponsored by the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS). The Jan. 20-23 forum at the Hilton Crystal City at Reagan National Airport comes in response to Pope Francis’ apostolic exhortation, Christus Vivit (“Christ is Alive”).

Archdiocese to Hold Webinar for Young Adult Catholics in the U.S. Military

WASHINGTON, D.C. — This week, the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS), will hold the fifth in a series of Young Adult Ministry webinars for U.S. Military-affiliated men and women from ages 18 to 39. Also encouraged to participate are military pastoral leaders—Catholic priest chaplains and chapel staff at installations worldwide. The 60-to-90-minute webinar will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 8:00 p.m. EST and twice on Thursday, Jan. 28, at 7:00 a.m. EST and again at 2:00 p.m. EST.  Each session will consist of a common keynote presentation and military young adult witness followed by individual live discussions.
