January 28, 2024: The second collection for the Black and Indian Mission Office is taken up on the First Sunday of Lent to support the organization which is the embodiment of the Church’s concern for evangelizing the Black and Indian peoples of the United States. The funds are distributed as grants  which support and strengthen evangelization efforts in dioceses throughout the United States, including the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA.

March 10, 2024: This collection provides funding for Catholic Relief Services, the USCCB Offices of International Justice and Peace, Migration and Refugee Services, and Pastoral Care for Migrants and Refugees, relief work of the Holy Father, and the Catholic Legal Immigration Network.

Lent: February 14 – March 31, 2024 CRS Rice Bowl provides funding for Catholic Relief Services’ food security projects which support agriculture, nutrition, education, and self-sufficiency in communities around the world.

March 29, 2024:Installations are encouraged to continue the practice of taking up a collection on Palm Sunday for the AMS. They are also invited to support Christians in the Holy Land by donating to the Good Friday Collection.

April 28, 2024: The Catholic Home Missions Appeal primarily supports home mission dioceses, that is, those dioceses in the United States that are unable to offer their people the basic pastoral ministries of word, worship, and service without outside help. It may also give grants to other dioceses in the U.S. for particular projects, and to organizations and religious communities engaged in missionary work.

June 30, 2024: The Peter’s Pence Collection is the way we, as members of the Catholic Church, unite ourselves to the concerns of the Holy Father.  Donations to this collection support the charitable works of Pope Francis for the relief of those most in need.
