BOSTON—Father Carignan Rouse, 2d Lt, USAFR, a United States Air Force chaplain candidate, was ordained a priest on Saturday, May 18, in Boston. His ordination was celebrated at a 10:00 a.m. Mass at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross through the laying on of hands and the prayer of consecration invoking the Holy Spirit by His Eminence, Sean Cardinal O’Malley.

The MCCW has just donated $50,000 to establish an endowed scholarship for seminarians in formation for priesthood and military chaplaincy. Prospective Catholic U.S. Army Chaplain Ordained Transitional Deacon in Boca Raton, Florida

BOCA RATON, FL – The Reverend Mr. Adam Marchese, a candidate for Catholic priesthood and United States Military chaplaincy, was ordained a transitional deacon on Saturday, April 6, 2019, in Boca Raton, FL. Deacon Marchese, 29, is in priestly formation at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach, where he is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree. Auxiliary Bishops William Muhm and Joseph Coffey Ordained at National Shrine

WASHINGTON, D.C.— It’s official: the Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS), USA, now has two new auxiliary bishops. Bishops William (Bill) J. Muhm and Joseph L. Coffey were ordained Monday—the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord—at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. His Excellency, the Most Reverend Timothy P. Broglio, J.C.D, Archbishop for the Military Services, served as principal celebrant and ordaining Prelate before a congregation of more than two-thousand on a beautiful spring afternoon in Washington, DC.
