WASHINGTON, DC – The Our Sunday Visitor (OSV) Institute of Huntington, IN, has awarded a $23,940 grant to the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS), for the purpose of training young adult leaders to evangelize their non-practicing Catholic peers at U.S. Military installations. The grant will make it possible for the AMS to expand a pilot initiative it launched 18 months ago in partnership with Reach More™, an online coaching and training system of the Evangelical Catholic, a nonprofit specializing in Catholic ministry consulting and evangelization training.

BALTIMORE—More than two dozen Catholic catechetical leaders based on United States Military installations throughout the eastern U.S. will gather in Baltimore, Md., this weekend for three days of training, fellowship, discussion, and prayer at the ninth annual Mid-Atlantic Congress (MAC). WASHINGTON, D.C. – Time is running out for current and former U.S. Military personnel, including the wounded, ill, and injured, to apply for an all-expenses-paid, round-trip journey to Lourdes during the 62nd annual Pèlerinage Militaire International (PMI)—or “International Military Pilgrimage”—in May. All applications to join the “Warriors to Lourdes” (WTL) spiritual journey, May 12 to 19, must be received no later than Wednesday, Jan. 15.

ASSISI, ITALY – Twenty Catholic couples based at U.S. Military installations throughout Germany and Italy spent the weekend here in the hometown of Saint Francis of Assisi on a Marriage Enrichment Retreat sponsored by the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS). The Dec. 6-8 retreat took place on a sunny hillside in Palazzo di Assisi, about an eight-minute drive from the center of town, at the local Diocesan Retreat Center, known as Villa Santa Tecla.
VATICAN CITY — Pope Francis on Tuesday received in audience Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio and all five of his auxiliary bishops currently in service to the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS): Bishops Richard B. Higgins, F. Richard Spencer, Neal J.
